I will never get tired of photographing this precious family! McCauley and Brittni are two very special people to me and my family. Whenever I first started my business, they invited me into their home for some maternity photos…. Which lead into newborn photos of their adorable son, Asher. Then I had the pleasure of photographing his 6 month milestone and now his 1st year! They both are the kindest people you will ever meet and have some of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. That is why they make the best preacher and wife combo! Just visit Friendswood Baptist sometime and you will feel right at home!
Brittni and I have been chatting about where to do their family photos, and once she said Galveston’s beach, I was ecstatic! I don’t know what it is, but I just love heading down to Galveston for a photo shoot. I was so thankful that we were blessed with cool weather that day, even though it was overcast. This Texas heat can get the best of you and lucky for us, it felt great outside! Plus, this session was extra special…. My mom came out with me to hang out with us and see me in action. After me being sick all day and on Benadryl, she made me feel a ton better just by helping out and enjoying everyone’s company.

Don’t you just LOVE this brick wall behind the most adorable family?!? My mom and I showed up a little early to walk around ourselves and scope out locations. It’s one of those time where you’ve shot enough at one location to where you want to change it up and get some fresh new spots. When she pointed out this brick wall, I was so happy! The texture alone is amazing and I knew Brittni would love it! After this, we headed to a mosaic wall to snap some more photos…. It was perfect! Asher started walking a couple weeks ago and we got to see him in action! He’s already a pro!

And of course…. My absolute favorite wall in the world. Beautiful!

And their niece came out to help, so I couldn’t help but snap a few photos of her…. Isn’t she just gorgeous?!? After leaving my favorite wall, we headed to the beach where I learned a certain someone liked to eat sand…. I don’t know what it is, but this is now the second 1 year old I’ve seen that LOVES to eat sand. It is HILARIOUS!

I just want to say thank you to the Austin family for letting me snap more photos of their precious family. I had an absolute blast and cannot wait to see their family grow!
